Lily headlines, backed by THE GENTLEMEN CALLERS – featuring Mike Topp, Kevin Walsh, Gene Hardy and Teddy Hawkins. The evening’s proceedings will be ushered-along by the one and only LAURA DESIREE (Naked News), as host and performer. Also on hand is DJ MISTY, dancers from SODA POP HOP DANCE STUDIO, and seriously hot burlesque from JAMES AND THE GIANT PASTY (of BoylesqueTO) and MS. DESIREE.
It’s a SOCIAL, dah-ling… Socialites are invited to dandy-up. Come ready to flirt, dance and mingle. At the heart of our event is fine music, rounded out by novel touches, such as Cupid’s Grotto, where our Social Coordinators will be on hand, encouraging Cupid’s arrow to do its thing.
It’s the opinion of our ‘Social Coordinators’ that dancing is a damn-good-thing. To get the joint jumpin’, we’re pleased to partner again with SODA POP HOP DANCE STUDIO. Their members will be on-site to school attendees in a pre-show dance lesson at 8pm. They’ll also perform two numbers in the show and are coordinating a POST-SHOW DANCE CONTEST.
Our Generous Patrons: Martha & Alf Davis, Alice Kernaghan, Janet & Doug Davis, Monica Avendano, Antoine O’hannessian, Donna Starr, Jannie & Paul Mills, April & Cheryl McDonald, Rob & Soli Joy, Greg Robertson, Cat Nimmo and Moses Znaimer.

DJ MISTY (pictured at left) has earned a reputation for knowing her way around a dance floor. Nominated and voted Runner Up in NOW Magazine’s 2014 & 2015 Reader’s Choice Awards for best DJ, she’s spent the last decade selecting the best in Rock n’ Roll, Soul, Vintage R&B, Retro 80’s & 90’s, Punk, Alternative and everything in between at bars, clubs and across the airwaves in Toronto, NYC, LA, Mexico City & Tokyo.
LAURA DESIREE (pictured below) can currently be seen (all of her!) on Naked News. She launched her performance career on the bartops and bottle service tables of New York City’s high-end hotels and Lower East Side dive bars. Laura became a popular go-go dancer and eventual burlesque performer under the guidance of Miss Jo “Boobs” Weldon and the New York School of Burlesque. Traveling back to hometown Toronto, Laura began producing burlesque shows across the city under the title” Vamps Like Us”. Most recently, Laura created shock- driven arts experiences for the stage at Toronto’s Candyland as their Creative Director.
JAMES AND THE GIANT PASTY (pictured below) is an award-winning burlesque performer, producer, and teacher based in Toronto, Canada. He is the founder and artistic director of BoylesqueTO, Canada’s Premiere All-Male Burlesque Troupe. He has a schlong list of accomplishments, but no one likes it when you talk about your schlong…list. He likes to put his best face backwards.
SODA POP HOP DANCE STUDIO is proud to be the only dance studio in Toronto to provide group and private lessons of all levels, in rock’n’roll dances. They share their love of music and dancing through courses, workshops and events. Soda Pop Hop offers rockabilly jive, bop and boogie-woogie dance courses, all including a first free-trial class for dance enthusiasts.
